It's such a wonderful experience to document the growth of the family of my former wedding couples. I'm always so honoured when I get asked to photograph their families a year (or two or three etc :) after the wedding. Last Spring I had a wonderful pleasure of photographing the new addition to the family of Hilary and Paul, baby Clayton, I loved spending time with them capturing their happiness and smiles, discovering their immense obsession with the tiny human being, their new family member ...

I just adore the time when I get a message from Richard Photo Lab that my scans are ready, it's as though I become in possession of a treasure chest and I don't know still what inside is, but I know that it's for sure something very precious! Now I have several chests and will start to show my treasures one by one, meet my dear little friend :)

I love taking pictures of children and think the best way to capture them is to let them be themselves. No stiff poses and artificial smiles. I long to create artistic imagery  that tells an intimate, genuine story - the moments of simplicity and beauty of the everyday. Clients often say they completely forgot I was there, while I photographed them, enjoying time being with their loved ones.
