Patricia and Raphael's love story reached a new chapter as they said 'I do' in the magnificent Neumünster Church in the peaceful Riesbach district of Zurich. The church's impressive stained glass windows, soaring arches, and intricate carvings created a breathtaking setting for the couple's exchange of vows. They chose Signau House, a beautiful boutique hotel, to celebrate their marriage with close friends and family. Recently refurbished, the 100-year-old villa boasts a charming and sophisticated atmosphere, offering the perfect blend of history and modern elegance. Nestled in the heart of the city, Signau House is a hidden treasure, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The highlight of Signau House is its picturesque garden, featuring a serene pond filled with water lilies, providing the perfect backdrop for the couple's wedding ceremony. As a wedding photographer always searching for new and unique venues, I was happy to discover this place. With its charming atmosphere, tranquil garden, and close proximity to a stunning church, Signau House is a must-consider venue for any couple seeking an elegant setting for their special day.

Leonora & Oliver's Enchanting Waldhaus Sils Wedding // Sils Maria, Switzerland

The intimate wedding of Leo and Oli in The Waldhaus Sils, Sils Maria, Switzerland was all about love, nature and spirituality. The cross-cultural union between Leonora, from Switzerland, and Oliver, from Korea, found its perfect setting in the historic and elegant Waldhaus Sils, a venue known for its timeless elegance and warm hospitality since 1908. The couple chose this idyllic location, nestled amidst stunning alpine scenery, to celebrate their diverse heritage and shared love for the outdoors.

The couple started the day at Muottas Muragl, followed by a stroll near Lake St. Moritz.

Upon returning to the hotel, the couple enjoyed a relaxed lunch with their family, transitioning smoothly into the day's main events. For the ceremony, Leonore donned an exquisite lace gown, its embroidery mirroring the surrounding forest, complemented by a distinctive edelweiss headband—a nod to traditional Swiss flora.

Carla & Joachim, wedding in Segantini Museum, St. Moritz, Waldhaus in Sils-Maria and Fex-Crasta Chapel

Carla and Joachim are both architects and live in Vienna. Like most couples last year they were not sure till the last moment, if they would be able to celebrate their wedding with the families at the Waldhaus Sils in Sils Maria, where Carla used to come with her parents and sisters in the childhood. The evening before we met at the lake Sils for portraits, as the weather forecast promised heavy rain on the way of the wedding itself. The civil registration and apéro were held at the Segantini museum in the morning. Afterwards the couple and guests went to the Waldhaus Sils to have lunch and get ready for the church ceremony. An approximately 25 minutes horse-drawn carriage ride through the beautiful Fex Valley brought us to the Fex-Crasta Chapel, a picturesque mountain church with its famous and well-preserved frescoes. The Fex valley is under strict conservation, very few cars are allowed to drive there. Weather forecast was, unfortunately, right, and the whole day was heavily rainy, so the outdoor drinks had to be moved inside Sonne Fex Hotel. Despite of all the rain, it was a very warm and cosy day filled with thought-through details.
